​I have always enjoyed taking photos growing up. After I got married however, photographs took on a whole new meaning for me. I remember looking at my wedding photos and I could basically feel  the love and emotion pouring out from them. Instantly I knew that I wanted to let as many people experience what I felt when looking at my photos. This feeling catapulted me into starting A girl and her camera.

When considering me as your photographer, you should know that it is extremely important to me to capture the moments that unfold naturally between you and your loved ones. When photographing your wedding day, other than your portrait session, you will hardly notice me. During a couple shoot, I encourage familiar interaction between you and your partner to get natural reactions from both of you. There is a time and place for posing, but magic happens when people are free to just be and truly connect with each other.

As a photographer, I am merely here to tell YOUR story in as honest a way as possible. Being a photographer was never about me and my art - for me, it's  about capturing my clients in a way that reflects their relationship and their personalities. Genuine, unposed moments are where it's at!
